Language Arts: We finished up our Shadows unit today and will begin Finding Friends on Monday.
New high-frequency words: down, go, and up
During this unit we will begin to focus on the sounds the letters make and how to put these sounds together to form words, both orally and written.
Our writing during this unit will focus on journal entries, responding to what we read, and personal writing such as notes, lists, and cards.
We will also begin to learn about adjectives.

Math: we are continuing our chapter on numbers 6-10. We will focus on writing these numbers.

Science: this week we will finish up our unit on plants. We have learned about what plants need to grow, the parts of a plant, and where plants grow.

Thanks for your time!
Please email me if you have any questions!
