Here is what we have coming up:

12/10: Picture re-take day

12/12: PH Craft Faire; 6-8 pm in the cafeteria

12/19: free dress day

12/22-1/2 HAPPY HOLIDAYS! No school

Language Arts
This week we will finish up our unit on telling stories from pictures. The kids have been doing an excellent job talking about setting and what the characters are doing, saying, and feeling.
We have begun to do a lot of blending sounds to make words. The kids are excited about this, and they have been very successful. Keep reading every day for at least 20 minutes!
New sight word: on
This week we will begin our first opinion writing piece about which season we prefer--Fall or Summer.

Math
This week we will finish the chapter on numbers to 20. We will plan to take the chapter test on Friday.

Thanks for reading, everyone!
I hope you all have a relaxing Thanksgiving Holiday with your families.
Please don't hesitate to email carrie.relles@gmail.com or stop by if you have questions or concerns.
